Responsibilities

  • Experience: Previous experience in event photography or as a photography assistant is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with photography equipment and editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.).
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for capturing perfect moments.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks such as carrying equipment.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and potentially travel to various event locations.

Qualifications

  • Assist with Setup: Help set up photography equipment including cameras, lighting, and backdrops at various event locations.
  • Image Capture: Assist in taking photographs during events, ensuring high-quality images are produced.
  • Organize Subjects: Help organize and direct event participants for group photos and candid shots.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and manage photography gear, ensuring everything is in good working order.
  • Post-Production Support: Assist with editing and retouching photos using software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their photography needs are met and exceeded.
  • Logistics Support: Assist with the logistics of transporting and setting up equipment at different event locations.
  • Backup and Storage: Ensure all photos are backed up properly and stored securely after events.
